A bit about
All HUB Security Systems
employees are known to us or come to us via referral from those that we know
and trust. Unlike most other security companies, we do not advertise for
employees. Many of our employees work for HUB Security as a second job in
order to help meet the demands of these difficult economic times. Some are
retirees, and others work flexible hours in order to be able to address
their needs at home.
In addition, all of our
employees undergo a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check, and
references are extensively reviewed.
Meet some of
our HUB Security Systems personnel:
"Living in Boston and having
a young, growing family requires that I work two jobs to help make ends
meet. For more than five years, I have worked for HUB Security, and would
never think of leaving. The pay is better than most other security
companies, and the fact that they allow me to work hours tailored to my
needs allows me to help pay my family's bills."
- Security Officer John Cushing
"Last year, I retired from
the MBTA after 25 years of service. I had the opportunity to meet Arlene
Iannella, and she asked me if I was interested in working. Little did I know
that retirement was not for me, and I was driving my wife crazy at home. I
had never been to Fenway Park before, but had the great opportunity to work
there during the playoffs and the World Series. Today, I am a full-time
night supervisor, and hope to be with HUB Security for a long time to come."
- Security Officer Willie Hazlewood
"Having three teenage
children in private school costs a lot of money. I tried other avenues to
keep up with the bills, but none seemed to fit the flexible hours that I
needed. Arlene Iannella is in the same shoes as myself and many other
parents. Our kids are our top priority, but working around their schedules
can be done."
